About Us

UbetRacing.Com is a Penn National based thoroughbred racing partnership managed by Thoroughbred Associates, LLC.  We offer affordable thoroughbred ownership opportunities backed by over 20 yrs of training and ownership experience.  We carefully select our horses to claim and purchase.  Our stable is trained by Lester Stickler Jr. with the assistance of his father and mentor Lester Stickler Sr.  Thoroughbred training takes time and dedication from the entire barn staff and this can be found any day of the week in the Stickler operation.  Recently Erin McClellan joined our training team.  Erin has a long history with horse racing at Penn National.  She started as a groom years ago and developed into a barn/stable manager as well as an exercise rider.   In early 2010 Erin took her trainers test and became a licensed trainer.  She runs a small stable and like Lester she is very hands on (she gallops most of her horses).  I am confident in both Lester and Erin and we look forward to many wins with both.  We are excited for our partners to come out race night with their family and friends to watch their horse run.  We invite all partners to stop by the barn for a visit and gain additional insight to the daily operations of thoroughbred training.  The best time to stop is Saturday mornings, you will most likely bump into other partners, and there are usually a few donuts sitting inside the door.  Our partnership started with 4 friends going together and claiming a horse and has grown to a few more horses and many more people.  We have brought strangers together and created a mutual bond in horse racing that has made us all friends for a long time to come.  Come join us in our venture.  Whether you own 3 shares or 30 you are treated the same by everyone in the partnership, after all we are all in this to win and have a good time.  Invest in a good time! jason@UbetRacing.com

Jason Eisenhauer

First Horse: Gold Minister (purchased for $500 in 1995)

Kitti Lake WinJason is the Managing Partner of UbetRacing.com.  He started in the business world as an Asst. Golf Pro and quickly moved up the corporate golf management ladder to General Manager / Head Pro (PGA).  After a few years he was managing multiple properties between Wisconsin and North Carolina.  After 12 years in the golf industry he decided to make a career change, during the interim he worked as a groom and hands on owner for Lester Stickler Jr.   Jason is currently Partner / VP of JET Enterprises dba Londonderry Limousines and Partner / VP of P&J Holdings, a property investment and management group.  When out of the office he spends most of his free time with his 8 yr old daughter Abriana, who can be found feeding carrots and mints to the UbetRacing stable on any given evening.  Horse racing is in his blood, as a young child he can remember sitting with his grandparents watching the "ponies" and collecting the loose change from his elders winnings.  Through high school he and Lester saved their lunch money for show parleys and spent a few hours in detention for using the school equipment to copy the horse racing selections out of the local newspaper.  So you can see that the love and passion for horse racing runs deep with both Jason and Lester.  It was always a dream to own a race horse and ever since the first day Gold Minister ran back in 1995 he knew it would be a life long love.  With runners and winners since 1995 a few horses to note are: Swan Search (1997 Penn National Horse of Year), Texas Gold (2000 Mountain State Handicap Winner, Track Record Holder).   In 2008 his racing focus turned to starting a thoroughbred racing partnership, thus came UbetRacing.com.  It is Jason's belief that owning a thoroughbred can be as affordable as one chooses.  He wants this to be a trill that everyone can experience and enjoy no matter their financial involvement.  With shares starting as low as $40 with a 3 share minimum you can experience the amazing trill of watching your horse thunder down the lane for a small investment.  With a love and passion like this how can you not want to be a partner?  It's Jason's goal to get you into the winners circle with your own thoroughbred!

Jason Batz

First Horse: Sea Dancer

Eisenhauer (right) 1998 Belmont StakesJason (known to most as "Batzy") has been an avid horse racing fan for well over 15 years.  His first thoroughbred purchase was Sea Dancer followed up by Kitti Lake.  The two of them ripped of 4 wins in a row in a 2 month span.  Jason's professional career is in the legal field.  He ia a graduate of Penn State University and a life long friend of Jason Eisenhauer.

Pete Parpagene

First Horse: Criso Kid

Pete (know to most as "Parp") has been an owner of thoroughbreds since 1998.  He was the Managing Director of "PAC Man Stable" with winners such as Bam Bam Man, Delaware Pete, Avalino.  He also owned Criso Kid and many others.  Pete is currently Partner / Pres. of JET Enterprises dba Londonderry Limousines and Partner / Pres. of P&J Holdings, a property investment and management group.  The early days of his professional life were geared to the golf indusrty.  Pete was a member of the PGA and managed numerous golf properties through out PA and WI.
